An Introduction To
Tissue Density Restoration (TDR) Massage 

One-on-One Individual Learning Massage

This class provides an introduction to the theory of tissue density's relationship to pain and dysfunction, as well as the basics of Tissue Density Restoration (TDR) Massage. This is an individualized teaching situation, in which, along with theory and documentation information, the student receives a personal hands on demonstration massage. It is the instructor's intention that the student be given an excellent learning experience.This class is two hours and can be designed around the student's area of interest and repeated as desired. For example:

Intro to TDR Massage w/Focus on the Hand, documentation, & exemplar hand massage, or

Intro to TDR Massage w/Focus on the Foot, documentation, & exemplar foot massage, or

Intro to TDR Massage w/Focus on Head/Neck, documentation, & exemplar head/neck massage

Each 2 hour class earns 2 CE hours Price of Class - $150.00

Focus on - Hand Restoration

Tissue Density Restoration Massage is an extremely effective therapeutic modality that addresses acute and long term musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. The purpose of this class is to present the theory of tissue density and it’s relationship to pain and dysfunction, and to provide hands-on experience that will enable the practitioner to relieve pain and improve the function of his/her own hands and those of others.

Objectives

Students will:

Understand and be able to state the theory of tissue density's relationship to pain and dysfunction.

Be able to identify and document the precise locations of hand pains and dysfunction.

Learn to apply specific massage techniques based on individual condition to relieve hand and wrist pain, and improve hand mobility and function.

Be able to utilize documentation in a process that is useful for assessment, treatment planning, and outcome evaluation.

Who should attend

Massage Therapists and any persons interested in healing their own hand pain and dysfunction.

Your Instructor
Linda LePelley, RN, LMTI, LMT, CEP, is a registered nurse, Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Continuing Education Provider, with over 15 years of clinical massage therapy experience.




Participants must attend the entire 6 hours (Or 2 hour individual module) to be issued a CE certificate, no exceptions, no refunds. Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance may be transferred to another class within a 6 month period without penalty. Late sign-ups will receive their CE certificate in the mail within 7 days of class.

This 6 hour CE Class for Massage Therapists is approved by the Texas DSHS.
